And Along Came Kaito...

It's been a while since I started this project. For me, it’s really paid off!
 
This was my first official photo shoot ever. On a day with great weather, AnyaPanda and I went out and visited some of her favourite shooting locations. I noticed that posing is sort of awkward when you only have one photographer and a non-cosplayer audience. (I pretty much glued myself to her side whenever we moved locations). With my experience bar totalling a grand zero percent when we started shooting, it was a bit slow to start off. Most of my shots went something like this:
 
AnyaPanda: "Hold your hand higher."
Me: "Like this?"
AP: "Yes, just like that."
Me: (Ok, hand higher, face camera, and smile...wait I'm supposed to be singing!)
*CLICK*CLICK*CLICK*
AP: "...That's not bad."
Me: (It's probably bad…)
 
However, it did get better as we went on. I sort of didn't care about the onlookers anymore, and our shots started to turnabout. One valuable lesson I learned during this excursion is that looking at photos, then acting like the person in the photos feel and looks completely different.
 
Even though, I think this is a start to a long lasting relationship with cosplay.
